America’s Child– Established to provide college education and welfare assistance to the surviving children of military heroes who have already given their lives in patriotic service to their country fighting our nation’s war against terrorism as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and the Philippines, Operation Iraqi Freedom or future conflicts. org

The Folded Flag Foundation - Provides scholarships and educational grants to cover private school tuition and fees, tutoring, after-school programs, summer camps and other related educational expenses. Folds of Honor Foundation– Folds of Honor Foundation (FHF) provides post-secondary educational scholarships to the spouses and children of service members disabled or killed as a result of their military service. Fry Scholarship - The Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship (Fry Scholarship)is available for children and spouses of service members who died in the line of duty after September 10, 2001. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)– ed.gov/programs – Provides need-based grants to low-income undergraduate students to promote access to postsecondary education. Priority is given to those students with the lowest expected family contributions and those who are also Federal Pell Grant recipients.

Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors – TAPS provides a variety of programs nation and worldwide to all those grieving the loss of a loved one who died while serving in our Armed Forces. Programs include: Support seminars; “Good Grief Camp” for children and families; Activity retreats with varying adventure levels; “TAPS Inner Warrior” health and wellness Program; Empowerment workshops; Peer Mentor programs; “Teams4taps” events with professional sports teams and athletes; and online and local survivor care groups. https://www.taps.org/

Survivor Outreach Services (SOS)the official Army program to provide long term support to surviving family members of fallen soldiers.
